Local attractions include the museum just next to the pond and Stoneywish nature park. Mid-Sussex and Pyecombe golf courses are only ten minutes drive away and well worth a visit are Jack and Jill, two adjacent windmills on the South Downs with wonderful views over the Sussex Weald.

Further afield are quaint, historic Lewes and cosmopolitan Brighton with its majestic seafront, the Theatre Royal, the Royal Pavilion, numerous pubs and restaurants, cinemas and night clubs for those in search of the bright lights! Glyndebourne opera house is 12 miles away and the world famous gardens at Sheffield Park, Nymans and Wakehurst are within easy driving distance as are Plumpton Agricultural College and Sussex University.
